back to our regularly scheduled programming

(from xkcd, included on our programs)

We’re back! And anxiously awaiting photos of the wedding so we can bask in the glory over and over and over again.

Turns out that I am a big old hypocrite. For all the hemming and hawing and whining I did about the planning, time and money involved in a wedding, it was worth all of that and more.

With the exception of a busted strap 90 seconds before I headed down the aisle, everything went according to plan; it was truly the happiest (and most fun) day of our lives. We have the best friends and family in the world, and to have them all in the same room for a day — well, it was beyond anything we could have hoped.

The honeymoon (here) was great, too; big, fresh, orange-yolked eggs, vast forests that we had all to ourselves, hot springs and a lot of rain.

It’s going to take some time to adjust to re-entry…
