imagine, if you will

July 16, 2007 § Leave a comment

Say, hypothetically, you head over to a park on a beautiful afternoon to eat your lunch. Say there are many people scattered around the park, but there is plenty of open space left between them. Now imagine that there is a normal-width flight of stairs leading to a platform where a handful of people are sitting. In this big, spacious park with many seating options and plenty of areas that you could call your very own, would you choose to sit directly across from the one person on those steps, close enough that you could reach out and touch them?
