Returning to work this morning is almost painless. I’m skeptical. We’ll see how it feels at 1:00pm.

The pies came out pretty well; the sweet-potato mango tasted a lot more like mango before it was cooked and the blueberry-peach didn’t get quite enough time to cool, but they were both really yummy and there were no leftovers for breakfast. In my family that’s a success.

The drive gave me some time to try a series of “learn French” podcasts (now what I need is a “remember French” podcast). Between foods, family and rides I even had a few minutes to practice my dog-stacking and mobile blogging:
