The other day I began my walk from work to the BART via the alley next to my office. Someone had put giraffe-print wallpaper on a street lamp, so if you didn’t look up at the light part it looked like there was a giraffe growing out of the ground.

Today there is a banner on the top of the light post complete with a photo of a giraffe-head and an ad for the San Francisco Zoo.

Cute for sure, but I liked the whimsicality of the giraffe-sprout idea.
