Damn damn damn. Another one down. I have never met the guy, but he’s well-liked by friends of mine, and he’s a compatriot in the risks we both choose to take. I hate it when they catch up with us like that.

Street names from that neck of the woods do me no good, but there are only a few spots that it could be using the Livermore Hills RR course as a reference. Of all the spots where the race makes a right turn and there is an available left, I don’t remember any having good visibility to the left. Not that it necessarily would have helped; you just can’t know.

If only.
