I almost hate to say it, but I’m really excited about this new prospect. A race without the favorites — how sweet will that be? For us as spectators having little clue as to what will happen next, for the racers who previously went in really without much to bank on.

My enthusiasm has nothing to do with the doping, really. It has everything to do with having an exciting race after years of watching teams race for second place. Now it’s going to get all hot & bothered.

Maybe my little Kamikazak will do it this year, if he makes it through today. Right.
